At times there may be almost 2 million flamingos in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lake shore.

You have probably seen them in photos or videos with very colorful attires. The Maasai tribe are nomads in nature and still maintains their traditional way of life. You will always find them wearing the traditional attires which are either red, purple, and blue patterns of the Maasai shukas.  During the visit, you will not only interact with them but also get a glimpse of their traditional way of life.   The Masai Tribe live in small mud-thatched houses known as Manyatta.  They will break into dance; you will get an amazing experience singing and dancing along. There is room for you to join the dance and measure how high you can jump!

You will also get the opportunity to enter the houses made of sticks, mud, cow dung, grass, urine, and ash.

Drive on to Masai Mara Game Reserve to arrive at your lodge/camp in the early afternoon for check-in and lunch.

16:00hrs Depart for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. You’ll see lots of elephants here often in large herds, as well as – if you’re lucky – leopard, cheetah and rhino.   All of the Big Five are residents. You’re sure to see the African buffalo. Get the cameras ready, charge the batteries and enjoy yourself!
