Kenya Safaris

Kenya, breathtaking landscapes, cultures & wildlife.

Located in East Africa with a coastline flanking the Indian Ocean, Kenya encompasses many landscapes – savannahs, Lakelands, the dramatic Great Rift Valley and mountain highlands too. It is home to rich and thriving animal populations, including lions, elephants and rhinos. From the capital, Nairobi, safari goers make their way to the Masai Mara Reserve (known for its annual wildebeest migrations) and Amboseli National Park (which offers breathtaking views of Tanzania’s 5,895 m Mt. Kilimanjaro). The fact that it straddles the equator with negligible seasonal temperature variance, makes Kenya the perfect year-round destination for a combination safari-and-beach holiday.

The Pearl of Africa.

Uganda is Africa condensed; the best that the continent has to offer packed into this one incredible region. Home to one of Africa’s highest mountain ranges in Africa, the ‘Mountains of the Moon’ in the Ruwenzori National Park; Uganda is also the source of the mighty Nile. It is relatively small in relation to other African countries, and a good infrastructure and road network make travel to and within the country simple. Visitors can reach the major attractions comfortably within a day, making even the shortest stay a multifaceted experience.

Uganda boasts 6.8% of the world’s butterfly species, 10.25% of its bird species, 7.8% of its mammals and 53.9% of its mountain gorilla population. Uganda has the highest concentration of primates on earth, at least 11 different species, including chimpanzees and the very rare, endangered mountain gorilla. Head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (BINP) and Kibale Forest National Park to get up close to these ‘great apes’.
