ITINERARY 

Day 1 - Arrival Entebbe, Uganda

Met on arrival by our representative, outside the baggage hall area and transferred to your city hotel where you have been booked on a bed and breakfast basis.

Overnight at Kampala Serena Hotel

Day 2 -Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park.

After an early breakfast and a pre-safari briefing and introduction to your dedicated Safari Driver Guide, depart begin the scenic drive to Murchison Falls.  A brief stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking and lunch, then drive to Murchison falls and visit the top of the falls and here you can experience the water flow into the gorge.

Drive on to your lodge for check-in enjoying game viewing en-route.
Dinner and Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge

Day 3 – Murchison Falls National Park.

Full day in Murchison Falls with an early morning game viewing drive.  You may see Elephant, Lion, Buffalo, Giraffe, Hartebeests and many more. 

Free time after the morning game drive to relax and enjoy the lodge’s facilities that include an infinity swimming pool affording magnificent views of the surroundings.

Later, in the afternoon, proceed for a Boat trip on the placid Victoria Nile, upstream, to the base of the Falls. En route you will see hippos, crocodiles, water buck and a wide variety of birds like the unusual shoebill stork. The boat stops just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron”. Take pictures of the photogenic and majestic Murchison Falls. Disembark from the boat and take a hike to the Top of the Falls where you can see the Nile’s beauty perfected!!

Marvel at the Nile, compressing from 50 meters to squeeze through a 6-metre canyon dropping 40 meters with a thunderous roar creating a beautiful rainbow, a plume of spray and the best thing that happened to the Nile…” the Murchison Falls”.

Return to the lodge in the early evening to refresh for dinner.

Day 4 - Murchison Falls to Kibale Forest National Park.

After an early breakfast, depart and take a long drive (estimated transit time is 7 hours) with frequent stops to stretch legs. The drive takes you through little towns and villages as you observe the African rhythm of life.   Enjoy a Picnic lunch at a designated location.

KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

Located in southern Uganda, the park is said to be home to the highest density of primates in Africa. Although the highlight of the park is the habituated chimpanzees, the treetops are alive with all manner of monkey including: red-tailed monkey, Lhotse’s monkey, grey-cheeked mangabey, red colobus and black and white colobus monkeys are all spotted here. An Ornithological paradise with over 300 bird species and an incredible 250 species of butterfly to keep you busy.

Day 5 - Kibale Forest National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Breakfast in the lodge and drive to the park headquarters Kanyanchu for a briefing prior to the chimpanzee tracking. You spend the morning in the forest tracking the famous primates.   Thereafter drive on to Queen Elizabeth National Park.  Early evening arrival at your lodge, Mweya Safari Lodge located on a peninsula overlooking the Kasinga Channel on one side and with spectacular views towards the Ruwenzori Mountains on the other!

Day 6 - Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Wake-up and start your day with a sunrise game-drive. Queen Elizabeth National Park’s diverse Eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. Game drives in this park, with the massive Rwenzoris as a backdrop provides excellent opportunities to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephants, de fassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, Topi and bush buck.

Later enjoy an exciting Boat Cruise on the spectacular Kazinga Channel. This offers an excellent platform for photography and game viewing. The birdlife is colorful and abundant. You will be privileged to see schools of hippos and Nile-crocodiles sunbathing with their jaws open wide.

Day 7 - Queen Elizabeth National Park to Lake Mburo

After an early breakfast in the lodge, depart and drive to Kyambura Gorge for an opportunity to track the Chimpanzees.

Thereafter continue your safari to Lake Mburo to arrive at your lodge in time for lunch.  Later in the afternoon, crown your day with a game drive in the park.

Day 8 - Lake Mburo to Kampala City & Departure

Participate in a morning Safari walk with the resident Naturalist and an armed Ranger before returning to the lodge for breakfast.

After breakfast and check-out and drive to Kampala with game viewing en-route.  You will be dropped at Entebbe International Airport for your home bound international Flight.
